How do I Know These Tools Work?


The short answer is because I've tried them.

Why take my word for it?

Not too long ago I had no idea what happiness could look like in my life. I was chasing after something that seemed so elusive I'd never catch it. I was burnt out, struggling with depression and anxiety, barely keeping my head above water and all the while knowing I wasn't put on this earth to feel this way.

I knew there was more to life but I had no idea how to change things.

I was physically and emotionally ill and decided to do something drastic. I picked up and moved about 350 miles from the only home I'd ever known and everyone I ever knew.

For years I'd been interested in holistic health and nutrition, meditation, Reiki, and I'd spent time reading and researching, trying to find a new way of life, but never really implementing anything I was learning. And if I did, it seemed like everything else, I started with a bang only to fizzle after a while and return to my old habits and old way of thinking.

Exhausted and ill I needed some time to heal my mind and my body. With the move I was able to take that time.

I spent the first few months in a daze, honestly. I didn't know anyone and I constantly second guessed my decision. I got out exploring my new home and getting out in nature as much as I could. I began working on myself from the inside out. I opened doors I'd tried too long to keep closed as I looked inward to get to know who I was and what I wanted out of my life.

For the first time I was looking at my life to see what I wanted, not what others expected or needed from me.

I'd been a caretaker to others for so long while shelving my own needs and wants that I had no idea where to start. I didn't even know who I was.

So I set out to figure it out.

We all are in a constant state of evolving and growing, but taking time to figure out who I was and where I wanted to be was liberating.

I dove into mindset work, discovering interests I'd either buried or never realized. I took time to get to know myself as an individual, not as someone's mother or daughter, the wife I had been, or the child that had just wanted to please.

Excited for the path before me, I rekindled my interest in Reiki, studying and becoming a second level Reiki and beginning my journey to Master which I will complete in March 2023.

I smashed through old mindsets and roadblocks, forgiving myself for things in the past, and letting go of all the things that held me back.

Change is never easy and is often uncomfortable, but it's necessary.

There were (are!) setbacks along the way, but I now know those setbacks don't define my future.

My interest in holistic health and wellness has led me to work towards a Mind Body Practitioner Certification, a Holistic Life Coaching Certification, and a Nutrition Coach Certification. I love helping people find their way. I love watching people rekindle their light and discover who they were meant to be.

I have a passion for helping trauma survivors discover their strengths, their beauty, and their worth.

I have a long way to go on my journey yet. My body will take time to heal, but I'm confident in the path I'm on and that it will happen. I am confident in the future I am creating for myself.

Being happy is our right. Being our authentic selves is our right.

Happiness is not some elusive idea that exists beyond our reach. Happiness is meant for all of us. As I learned the tools I needed to create a happier life - a life I loved - I became so excited knowing that I would get to share those tools with others and help them create their own happiness.

What You'll Get




Your Path to Happiness is an online course you can complete at your own pace. The course itself consists of four modules and a bonus module 5, totaling about 1.5 hours of slides, audio and video. You also get a workbook, and bonus materials.

Your bonus materials include a downloadable three month gratitude journal, an audio guided meditation, a worksheet on creating boundaries as well as a 20 minute slide (audio) presentation of the boundaries worksheet.

I don't suggest just watching the course from beginning to end in one sitting, however.

I invite you to delve into the material, take your time completing the workbook tasks, and give yourself time in between modules to really implement the tools and changes.

If you try to go too fast, change won't likely take hold!

What the Course Covers:

Module 1: Defining your Happiness.

In module 1 you will dive into how the brain works and how it's wired for the negative and how to turn this around. You will uncover your negative self-talk and the limiting beliefs that hold you back.

Module 2: Meditation and Mindfulness Made Simple

Module 2 will explore meditation with an emphasis on mindfulness. Being able to bring yourself to conscious awareness during the day and living in the present is an essential tool for building a happier life. Module 2 will also introduce grounding and breathing exercises to help get you into the present moment as well as help with anxiety.

Module 3: A Grateful Heart. Module 3 is all about gratitude and giving you realistic ways to bring more gratitude into your daily life.

Module 4: Stress, Happiness, and the Tools to Change

Module 4 dives into stress; what it is and ways to cope with it using the Avoid, Alter, Adapt and Accept method.

In Module 4 you will also create your own unique Path to Happiness: a blueprint of your design to help guide you as you strive to live a happier, more meaningful existence.

Module 5: Module 5 is a bonus module where you will find extra tools and exercises to help you succeed.
